Koko's number 1 best lil dog toy to play with!

Do you have a smaller sized dog and find it hard to find that one toy your dog will love forever? I have searched and bought my little Shih Tzu/Bichon Teddybear dog Koko numerous toys, that I lost count after 20. She’ll play with them for a few days and then want a completely new toy to satisfy her. We couldn’t find a great toy until one Christmas year, when Koko’s Auntie Em (no not the aunt from the Wizard of OZ), gifted her HOLYSTEED small rubber balls that we nicknamed “donuts”.

Yes the “donuts” squeak in order to entice your dog to be playful. So, what makes them so great you ask? It’s mainly the small size of each one just like your small pup! The size allows the smaller dogs to pick it up, toss it around, and even catch it easier than any other toy. It’s so easy, that Koko will take it with her mouth, and toss it around allowing her to play all by herself! It’s also a great toy for you and your dog to play fetch with. It’s easy to throw, and it can even bounce creating more fun. Koko’s favorite is trying to catch it high up in the air. She gets really satisfied when she makes a great catch.

Also, due to it’s non-toxic soft latex material, it’s easily washable after a long play day outside. The round circular burger-like shape is perfect for a smaller dog’s mouth to carry around and chew on. I haven’t seen Koko, who is around 13lbs, break through one yet with her teeth. She’s destroyed many toys, and fixates on chewing tags, eyes, noses, and all kinds of strings. She’s punctured holes through cloth like fabric revealing fluff. This is why these little rubber balls are the best, and are her favorite. She’s always able to chew or lick them, play by herself or with people (mainly me). They are a toy that lasts for smaller sized dogs up to about 30lbs.

You must be asking “what are the cons with these small dog toy rubber balls?” There are only two possible cons I can come up with after seeing my dog play with them for years now. The first con is obviously the squeaking may be annoying to some people. If you are one who cannot take the squeaky sounding toys, then this one is probably not the best for you. However, if you don’t mind it, and your dog shouldn’t squeak it too much then it’s a great choice! The second con, the one that is the most annoying to your dog, is losing them under furniture that they can’t get to. The amount of times they fell in between the couches, or underneath them, causing poor Koko to finally cry for human help is way too many. However, there is one upside, and that’s pure excitement when she sees her favorite toy back in her eyesight.

Overall, I would rate these little toys a 9.5/10. It’s by far been the best toy. Over a course of 5 years she’s had a wide variety of toys that she gains and loses interest in. The one toy that stayed consistent would be these small HOLYSTEED rubber balls. They truly are the best and have Koko’s guarantee.
